Lifestyles Inquiry in Term 4

This term our inquiry focus is Lifestyles. Students at each level are exploring this through various hands-on experiences including our junior parish sports, triathlon, concert, camps and our swimming program. With the change in weather, it is a great opportunity to deepen students' understanding of the positive impacts of a healthy lifestyle and connect this to their mindset around learning.

As well as our hands-on experiences students will engage in explicit social and emotional learning , writing, and faith lessons. We ask parents to discuss the opportunities that students will have this term and to encourage their children to try new things, take risks and move outside of their comfort zone. This along with our explicit learning will support students to build resilience and help them to grow and flourish in life and learning.

Spectacular STEM

Last term we held our first Little Scientists, Big Ideas, STEM Expo. The day was a huge success with many of our students showcasing their amazing learning and creativity. Well done to Ebony Jenkin, Georgie Dunn and Ashleigh Gledhill for all of the work they did to organise the event and a big congratulations to all of our students and future scientists.
