Wellbeing – Joseph House Assembly
On the 14 October, led by House Leaders Tegan Eeltink and Julian Singh, the Joseph House Assembly was a heartfelt celebration of community, leadership and reflection under the theme of forgiveness.
Tegan and Julian shared that forgiveness is more than just saying “it’s okay.” It’s the ability to recognise when things have gone wrong and taking meaningful steps to rebuild trust and connection.
From Julian;
“ We see this in the example of God, who continues to forgive and guide people despite their past mistakes. His forgiveness reminds us that everyone deserves the chance grow and start again.”
And from Tegan;
“True forgiveness isn’t always easy. It takes courage, humility, and time. But choosing to forgive — even when it’s difficult — allows healing to take place. It frees us from resentment and helps restore relationships, whether they’re between friends, families, or within our school community. When we forgive others, we’re not only helping them move forward — we’re helping ourselves.”
