Learning together as one community
We were very excited to celebrate all the students who took part in this year’s Premier’s Reading Challenge. A total of 45 students completed the challenge — what an amazing effort!
A special shout-out goes to our Prep and Year 1 students, who were our top readers this year, with 10 students in each year level completing the challenge. Well done, everyone!
Together, our readers finished over 2,100 books - that’s a lot of stories, adventures, and learning! Many students also wrote thoughtful book reviews, sharing their ideas and reflections on what they read. It was wonderful to see so many students not only reading but also thinking deeply about their books.
Reading is powerful - it helps us learn, imagine, and grow. We can’t wait to see even more students take on the challenge next year!
A big thank you to Emma Wallis (Blain’s mum) for generously donating bookmarks and badges for our students. Certificates and badges were or will be presented to those who completed the challenge and bookmarks were gifted to all of our students.
Congratulations, readers ...
we are so proud of you!
Over the past few weeks, our teachers have been completing end-of-year assessments with each student. As part of this process, teachers have been meeting with students one-on-one to celebrate growth, review progress and identify next steps in learning.
These assessments help inform our final end-of-year reports and support a smooth transition into next year. We appreciate families’ understanding and support while teachers have been in and out of classrooms during this busy assessment period.
Operoo has recently announced that it will no longer operate in Australia. This means that from 2026, our school will transition to using the nForma Parent Portal for permission slips, medical information and other parent communication. This is the same platform currently used to access student reports and to book Parent-Teacher Conference times.
Our staff are currently attending training to learn more about the platform and its features to ensure a smooth transition for our families. Further information and support will be provided closer to the rollout.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation as we prepare for this change.

Our Library Timetable for Term Three is below.

Assembly will continue to be held at the normal time of 2:30pm on Fridays in the hall throughout Term Four.
Please note that on some weeks, assembly will not be held due to other school events (e.g. Mass, Sports Day, etc.).
All scheduled assembly dates can be found on the school calendar.
