Reminder about student free day coming up

A reminder that Monday November 3rd is a student free day. Teachers will spend the day in professional practice.

Prep 2026 Transition Day

On Wednesday we held our first Prep Transition session with our incoming Prep students. It was a great session as we welcomed siblings of current students and many new families. Students spent time getting to know new friends and enjoyed a range of activities together. Based on our current enrolments, we will be running 2 small prep classes in 2026.

OHS independent quality assurance assessment

Yesterday we had our 4 yearly Occupational Health and Safety Quality Assurance Assessment (audit).  We achieved an outstanding result, and this is always a great thing to know that we are managing our site to an excellent standard. OHS is led by one of our Assistant Principals, Shelley Gunn with the support of Darren Bowden, our maintenance officer and of course the entire staff that are in the good habit of reporting any unsafe conditions. This is a good time for me to remind all families that if you observe a situation in our school that you believe may be a safety issue, please report it to us so that we can eliminate or reduce any risks.

Roll out of Bed Day

Today already feels like Saturday as some of us have arrived at school in our PJs complete with bed hair. Others have arrived with very glam hair! Dress up days certainly bring a splash of colour and give our students a whole day to express themselves sharing their unique style. I will share some photos in next week’s newsletter.

As another week draws to a close, I wish you a great weekend and hope that you can enjoy a sleep in!
