The students are completing the topic of farm animals by copying the farm animal names that they have memorised. Here is the beautiful work of Jayden:
Grade 1/2
After memorising a variety of shop names, the students are learning more places that can be found in a town. Soon, they will be able to draw and label their own map.
Grade 2/3
The students are demonstrating that they can use the proper possessive adjectives (my, your, his, her) in front of masculine, feminine or plural nouns. Here is the work of Luke and Alex, who have both done very well:
Grade 3/4
In Grade 3/4, the students are going a step further by making full sentences to describe their belongings. Kyra and Dayyan have produced two very good pieces for their portfolios:

Physical Education
On Thursday 23 October the regional athletics competition was held at Tom Kelly Athletics Track in Doncaster.
Congratulations to Leela and Imogen for their outstanding effort to achieve this level of competition in long jump and high jump, respectively. There was tough comptetion on the day and both girls demonstrated resilience and should be proud of their results.
This week the Future Stars basketball team, Weeden Heights Wildcats, competed at the State Basketball Centre. They worked amazingly as a team and should be proud of their efforts.
