Welcome to Term 4! It’s a significant and exciting time for our VCE students as we approach the final stage of the academic year. Our Year 12 students begin their final exams next week, marking the culmination of years of hard work, determination, and growth. Many have shown great dedication by attending revision lectures and practice exams over the school holidays, demonstrating their commitment to finishing strong.

Looking ahead, our Year 11 exams will commence at the start of Week 7, providing valuable experience in preparation for their final year of schooling in 2026.

As exams approach, we encourage all students to stay organised, make the most of available resources, and reach out for support when needed. This is an important time for all students to consolidate their learning, refine their exam techniques, and approach each exam with confidence and focus. We encourage students to make full use of the resources, feedback, and support available to them — from teachers, study sessions, and revision materials — to ensure they feel as prepared as possible.

Equally, it’s essential to take care of their well-being during this busy period. Balancing study with rest, healthy routines, and time to recharge will make a real difference to both performance and mindset.

We are proud of the effort and resilience our students continue to show and wish all our Year 11 and 12 students the very best as they approach their upcoming exams.

Year 12

You Made It!

What a milestone! This week marks the official end of Year 12 classes for our amazing Kurnai College students. After years of effort, late-night study sessions, and countless memories, you’ve reached the final chapter of your VCE journey.

It’s been inspiring to see your hard work, teamwork, and resilience — especially through the challenges and triumphs of this year. You’ve supported each other, grown stronger together, and shown what it really means to be part of the Kurnai community.

But the journey isn’t quite over yet! The VCE exams begin next week, starting with English on Tuesday the 28th of October, and this is your chance to show everything you’ve learned. Remember to keep a healthy balance — rest, eat well, and take breaks when you need to.

No matter what lies ahead — uni, TAFE, work, or a well-earned break — be proud of how far you’ve come. You’ve achieved something incredible.

Good luck, Class of 2025 — we’re all cheering you on!🎓✨

From the Kurnai College VCE Team

Exams

All students must read the VCAA examination rules for VCE and the GAT. It is also their responsibility to be familiar with materials and equipment authorised for use in the GAT and VCE written examinations.

  • Students should check the starting time of each examination and arrive at least 30 minutes earlier and be familiar with rules about late admission to examinations.
  • The reading period is included in the times shown in the timetable. Each examination commences with a 15-minute reading period unless otherwise specified.
