We are looking forward to welcoming parents, grandparents, carers and siblings of all students in Kindy, Year 1, 2 and 3 next Wednesday morning to our book reading and signing event of ‘The Messiah’s Donkey’ by Anthony Salame. It will commence at 9am and should be a great morning. Parents and carers are welcome to stay for a short morning tea following the event. Look forward to seeing all those who can make it.

2025 The Jubilee Year

Below is a link to a great 2 minute video that perfectly explains this Jubilee Year we are in.  Take two minutes to check it out and find out what it means for us as Catholics to participate in a Jubilee Year calling for forgiveness and renewal in our own lives.

Did you know…

First made by monks in the 600s, pretzels were given as rewards to children for memorising their prayers. The shape of the pretzel is similar to a common prayer posture of crossing your arms over your chest, and the three spaces in a pretzel remind us of the Holy Trinity. Pretzels are made with only flour, salt and water, so they are appropriate for Lenten fasting regulations and are a common food.

Please keep our First Holy Communion candidates in your prayers as they prepare to receive the Sacrament for the first time next Saturday 5th April, 2025.

Go gently, every blessing.
