Captain's city adventure

Last Wednesday, our school captain's, along with Ms Vesdrevanis and Mr Hogg, headed to the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre as they attended the Melbourne Dream & Lead Conference.

Along with Jake, Jasmine, Elroy & Jonti, were hundreds of other leaders from other primary schools from all over Melbourne and beyond.

The students learned about leadership techniques, and had three guest speakers who all had inspiring tales to tell.

Persuasive Passion Projects

Throughout the past two weeks, as part of the student's English classes, groups of 3-4 were asked to make a persuasive passion project. They were given a brief which included a way to persuade people to want to use their product. Essentially...writing a script and a storyboard, and making a commercial!

At the conclusion, all groups shared their commercials to the whole cohort. It's fair to say we have some high end advertising guru's coming through the ranks!
