From the Music Room

What a wonderful term we have had!

Each class has learned new dances and our older students have choreographed their own group dances. The ideas and creativity displayed were amazing!

Our Junior Classes have also been learning how to read and clap rhythms. We played a game where students had to clap their way across the “pond”. 

Another fun activity this week was pulling, pushing, keeping the beat and playing with lycra in our “Stretchy Lycra” song! 

Next term our Choirs and Marimba Band will be performing at our Open Day (Wednesday May 14) so we hope you can come along to hear them.

Each level will work on a presentation for our school community and Mr Koh has also been rehearsing some great songs and dances in his program. Watch out for more details early next term.
