Kindy Book Worms!
As you know, every single week the Kindy students get to choose 2 books to borrow from the library. Some of our choices this week include dinosaurs, bears, reptiles, and more 😍
It's wonderful to witness them grow their imaginations and literacy/comprehension skills, as well as the excitement of going through all the books.
Thank you to Mrs Auckett for helping us in the library.
Lego Masters of HPCS
There are some budding Lego Masters right here at HPCS!
During Clubs on Thursday afternoons, the students have worked cooperatively to create castles, parks, water slides, vehicles and houses.
Here you can see how they've been showcasing their creative skills.
Mrs Chamberlain
French Knitting Club
This term we have been learning the skill of French Knitting with Mrs Warda. The students have been learning patience as each week they develop confidence and creativity with each stitch!
We began the term making our looms and learning basic stitches. It's been wonderful to see some of our older students working with younger students each week. It was also very encouraging to see that many students began their own French Knitting projects at home and have been bringing them in weekly to update us on their progress!
One of our students Joshua Denning, began clubs last week demonstrating the skill of Finger Knitting. What a talented group of students we have at HopePoint!
