The OH&S Committee meets twice per term. The composition includes the elected HSR and Deputy HSR, representatives from each sub-school, a rep from Admin/Therapy, the Principal, Assistant Principals and the OH&S Manager Nominee.

OHS COMMITTEE

OHS Committee Purpose: The OHS Committee is a formal group that facilitates consultation on health and safety matters. The committee is responsible for supporting the resolution of safety issues.

The OHS Committee provides a forum for discussing health and safety concerns.

Workplace Inspections - Term 1

Thank you to the staff that have returned the Term 1 workplace inspections, however there are still some outstanding.  To ensure that any areas need attention, this information needs to be provided to maintenance before the school holidays. Please ensure that the outstanding workplace inspections are returned to Fiona (pigeon-hole) no later by this Friday 28th March 2025. 

 

An OHS Safety Champion is someone who actively promotes and supports workplace health and safety by identifying risks, encouraging safe practices, and fostering a culture of safety.
