Yaluk Defects Period is Ending

The final list of defects and design faults that have arisen is being send to the builders this week.

If there is still a concern or defected that you have noticed in the Yaluk building (however small) please email Denise to ensure that every point has been raised with the project manager and has a chance to be fixed within the defects period.

If you have raised something verbally and it doesn’t look as though its been addressed please put in writing before Thursday.

Holiday Cleaning

On the last day of the term please pack up all movable furniture and put on the vinyl so a thorough vacuum of the room can be completed. 

If you have  had urine or faeces incident on the carpet and it was not "spot cleaned" at the time please advise Denise during this week and we will attempt to get the spot cleaned before the holidays.

Pre-Holiday Tasks

Feedback from various sub schools where teachers have moved into a new room indicated that some have found cupboards "bulging with resources" that they don't need nor want.  

If your cupboards are like this .why not try decluttering before the holidays. Return excess resources to the stationery cupboard or the curriculum store. Throw away broken toys and equipment. Make sure your cupboards only have materials and equipment relevant to the current class..

Next week Frances will send out Term 1 Pack up list. All classes/staff have a responsibility to pack up equipment from around the school  and store away for the holidays.
