Food Technology

Years 3-6 have had a great time learning new techniques and recipes in the kitchen. Their curiosity and enthusiasm have been wonderful to see.
Many students have tried new foods and discovered that they really enjoy them!
Over the past few weeks, students have made delicious fried rice, lemon and poppy seed mini muffins, and have loved creating their own rice paper rolls.
Families are more than welcome to pop in to check out our Food Tech room any morning before school, we would love to see you 😊
Ingredients
Here’s a list of ingredients we’ll be using in week 2 and 3 in Term 2 (all known allergies are catered for):

- Brown sugar
- Maple syrup

- Bi carb soda
- Plain flour
- Vegetable oil
- Frozen vegetables

Recipes
The recipes we've been using in Food Tech will be available on the school website very soon. Our Food Tech captains, Pranad and Sienna, are helping design the pages for these recipes. You can find the recipes here.
