At our recent AGM, we discussed the upcoming events for the year, including:

Term 2

Sat 3 May: Election Day Cake stall and BBQ

Wed/Thurs 5/6 May  (TBC): Mother’s Day stall

Mon 12 May: Kodomono hi (Children’s day)

Sat 14 June: Cake stall and BBQ

Mon 16 June: Readathon (6 weeks)

Fri 27 June: Tanabata

Term 3

Thu/Fri 4/5 Sep (TBC): Father’s Day stall

Term 4

Fri 10 Oct: Otsukimi Moon Festival

Fri 31 Oct: Teachers & Grandparents Day; Halloween Disco

8/9 or 15/16 November: Garage Trail Sale (needs volunteers to run!)

Thank you to Yayoi and Maya who were elected as Co-Presidents, and Christine as Secretary for 2025. Thank you also to our outgoing Secretary Libby for her invaluable contributions and who is now moving on to school council.

今年度共同会長に選出されたYayoiさんとMayaさん、そして2025年の書記に選出されたクリスティンさん、ありがとうございます。

また、過去数年にわたって貴重な貢献をしてくれたLibbyさんに感謝します。

ありがとうございました。LIbbyさんは今年度スクールカウンシルに移動されました。

The ribbons on the fence are looking beautiful! If you haven’t already, please encourage your child to write their 2025 goal on their ribbon and tie it on the fence.

CPS is now a registered donation partner with the Victorian Container Deposit Scheme! 10 cents from every container will be donated to the school.

The next time you drop off your containers, help the school raise funds by entering our ZoneID: C2000015213 or scanning this barcode.

Our nearest collection point is at 357 Hawthorn Road, next to the 7-11 just down the road (https://maps.app.goo.gl/VbkK59kmezNn3uFAA). But stay tuned for exciting news on a dropoff point at school.
