CURRICULUM FOCUS

This week in Science we are learning to explore how different objects move. 

VOCABULARY

Forces - a push or pull on an object.

Motion - any movement or change in position. 

Features - a distinctive attribute or aspect of something:

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Gather different objects that can roll e.g. rolling pin, soft drink can, toy car, ball, blocks, etc.

Sort the objects based on their features.

Ex: a soft drink can, rolls on its side because it is shaped like a cylinder.
