Principals Report

Welcome back everyone to Term 3!

We hope everyone had an enjoyable break. All of the students are excited to be back and have settled in well to their learning, which has been wonderful to see.

Term 3 sees lots of fun events happening – Planetarium, excursions, Science week, a disco and swimming for some of the year levels.

The Grade 5’s are excited to be heading to camp at Phillip Island in week 3. We know they will enjoy all of the experiences this camp entails.

We look forward to the Grade 6 Mad Day, 13th September, which is always an incredible community day filled with lots of games, fun and yummy treats. The marketing skills of our Grade 6’s is to be admired.

The Performing Arts concert will also be taking place towards the end of term with more information to follow.

Berwick Chase will be having a Curriculum Day on Monday 19th August. On this day our staff will be continuing on with their learning of the Maths Curriculum and we are lucky enough to be hosting Rob from ‘Learner First’ on this day to continue to support us through our Maths journey. Our goal is to have each student confident and competent in mathematics and have regular exposure to the mathematical proficiencies of reasoning, understanding and problem solving.

Looking forward to another action packed term at Berwick Chase.
