Today is a great day to be you!
This coming Sunday, our wonderful RAFT (RAngview Fathering Tribe) will be running their next family-friendly event - a Board Games Day.
Please come along with your family and get involved! The gym will be open from 12:00pm until 5:00pm and we encourage you to bring your own board games along - it's a great opportunity to share your favourites with other families. We will also provide some board game options for you to enjoy.

Remember to also sign up for this in-person TRP event! Coming up on Tuesday 20th August at 6:30pm (in the gym), a representative from TRP will be visiting to share some ideas around implementing improved Digital Wellbeing processes in the home.
We encourage all parents and carers to attend.
On Friday 23rd August, we will celebrate Book Week. This will be our special whole school 'Book Week Dress Up Day' - and we encourage all students to dress up as their favourite book characters.
The day will begin with a whole school assembly in the morning, beginning at approximately 9:15am. Students will then move into mixed-age groups, where they will complete Book Week related activities across the remainder of the day.
We are looking forward to seeing all of the creative costumes and a fun celebration of literature!
Our Parents & Friends Committee put on a brilliant night last Friday for our annual school discos!
Students were dressed to impress and danced the night away to some of their favourite tunes. The gym was transformed into a party zone full of energy and enthusiasm - and it was great to see everyone having so much fun.
Our school cannot hold these events without the dedicated work of our P&F Committee. We encourage all of you to think about getting involved in some small way. Thank you to the organisers of the discos and to all the parent volunteers on the night who helped with a range of jobs.
We have loved seeing our students get right into the Olympic spirit over the past fortnight.
It's such an inclusive event and our students have explored values such as teamwork, sportsmanship and humility, along with using Olympic experiences and results for lessons in reading, writing and maths.
We held our own huge celebrations at the Olympics Assembly on Monday. Thank you to the specialist team for putting this event together and well done to all of our students for representing their countries with pride!
It's our turn to say 'thank you' and show some gratitude! Last week we had National Principal's Day, and we were so touched by the heartfelt messages from staff, students and families. Reading all of the messages and cards from students was the real highlight - it has definitely filled my bucket! Thank you for allowing us to be part of a wonderful school community.
