Whole School NESA Audit
Tomorrow, we welcome Katie Hanes, Kerrie Priddis, and John O'Connor from Armidale Catholic Schools. They will oversee the Whole School Audit on behalf of NESA.
THURSDAY 8TH AUGUST
Saint Mary MacKillop Feast Day
Mary Helen MacKillop RSJ, religious name Mary of the Cross, was an Australian religious sister of Scottish descent who has been declared a saint by the Catholic Church.
Each year, on the 8th of August (the date of her death), we celebrate the Solemnity of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop, Australia's beloved first saint. Staff and students will celebrate this feast day with a Liturgy during Religion lessons.

We have 8 students attending the Diocesan Athletics Carnival in Tamworth this Friday, participating in various events.

BOOK WEEK PARADE
Save the date and plan costume ideas with your child for our upcoming annual Book Week Parade.
SMALL SCHOOLS' PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION
Please save the date for the annual small schools' public speaking competition. We will host this event again at Sacred Heart School on Thursday, 19th September. Mrs Darley has kindly offered to organise the competition to ensure that it runs smoothly on the day. Thank you, Mrs Darley! Further information will be provided to parents and children closer to the date.
TRANSITION TO KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM ~ 'LITTLE STARS'
We are excited to announce our Transition to Kindergarten Program for 2024. We have branded it 'Little Stars' and are set to start on Friday, 23rd August. The program will run each Friday (during school terms only) until Friday, 13th December ~ Week 9, Term 4.
Mrs Katie Goddard will be our Transition teacher.
We are now accepting enrolments. Please advertise with your friends and members of the community. If people wish to enrol, please direct them to our front office to collect and complete an enrolment form.

We are now accepting enrolments for 2025. If you intend to enrol your child in Kindergarten to Year 6, please contact Ms Traynor at the front office to collect an enrolment application.
