Year 3

Hello from 3G

The end of last term was a whirlwind of activity as we finalized assessments and completed our significant community project. The children showed remarkable dedication into their inquiry topic, ‘the community’ learning extensively while having a great time! Many of the descriptions of the students’ chosen facilities were outstanding. They crafted detailed histories, described awards their facilities competed for, and explained the influences behind their creations, among many other fascinating elements. The excitement reached new heights when it was revealed that we would bring our colourful little community to life.

Grade 3G presents ‘3Gee Coffee Clam Bay’

After a well-deserved holiday, the students started Term 3 with a bang!  We are working on how to persuade an audience in writing and celebrated NAIDOC week with an array of Dreamtime stories in Reading. In Maths, we started learning multiplication and how to apply this to measurement and volume.   We are looking forward to all the wonderful things we will learn this term.
