Cyber Safety/STEM

In Senior STEM students from Yr 3-6 have been busy working on Science experiments this term.

Year Three students are carrying out experiments to find out how heat moves through different materials. Year 4’s have been looking at the Earth’s changing surface and Year Five students have been learning about the properties of gas.

Year 6 students have been mixing all sorts of different concoctions involving solids and liquids to learn to create different solutions and suspensions.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words so this week I’ll let these lovely pictures do the talking. Feel free to ask your child what they’ve learnt in their science experiments. Many students have learnt the importance of following a procedure correctly as not all tests have been successful or conducted in a fair manner.
