Kitchen

The kitchen has been a busy place this fortnight.

Our grade's 5 & 6 Extended Cooking Program started for this term which is ran by our Principle team, the program runs over 6 week. This has seen the Grade 6's cooking sushi and chicken stir fry and the 5's making curry puffs.

The  kitchen Garden is looking wonderful, growing lots of amazing veggies such as

broccoli, silverbeet, celery, cabbages and 4 beautiful cauliflowers, which have been harvested and used in our lessons. Prep SR made a delicious cauliflower soup which all the children enjoyed tasting.

Japanese have been busy cooking with grade 5s students making a yakisoba ( Japanese stir-fried noodles).

Please see the attachments below to explore what we have been cooking in the kitchen. Included is the Recipe of the Newsletter for you to try at home.
