Parent Information Evening – Understanding Our Teaching Approach

Wednesday 27th August | 6:00–7:00pm | School Library

You will no doubt be aware that there have been some fairly significant changes to the way that we teach at SKiPPS over the last 12 months.

We warmly invite all parents and carers to an upcoming information evening to provide more information about these changes and provide some detail about our approach to teaching and learning at St Kilda Park Primary School.

This session will provide a brief introduction to Explicit Instruction and what we mean when we refer to the Science of Learning. You’ll also get a closer look at what our classroom practice looks like in action, including:

  • A PhOrMeS (phonics) lesson
  • A Writing lesson
  • A Maths lesson

Whether you're new to the school or just curious about our evidence-based approach to teaching and learning, we’d love to see you there!

Please register your interest using the link below so we can be prepared with resources for all attending.
