Group 10

Group 10 are having a fantastic term at school. It has been really pleasing to watch the student’s increased independence with following classroom routines and ability to persist and engage with their learning tasks. Communication has been a continued focus, and it has been wonderful to see everyone practise saying ‘hello’ using words, gestures or AAC. It has been lovely to see students seeking out peer interaction or joining in with their play. Our transport themed communication circle has been very popular, as well as our music and movement sessions. It has been fun learning to follow actions when using our musical instruments.
This term also saw the introduction of PMP, and everyone has really enjoyed having a new space to practise their gross motor and climbing skills. Another highlight was having Patrick, our class rabbit come to visit our classroom. Whole School events such as Book Week and NAIDOC week, allowed us to experience new books and themes across the school. Well done, Group 10, we are so proud of all of you.
