Litter at School

This week the Year 3 students learnt about litter in Environmental Education. Students noticed that there was litter around our school and went outside to pick it up.

The students collected three whole bags of litter just from the forecourt (over 100 pieces of waste) - and there was still some out there!

Most of the litter we collected was plastic food wrappers.

The Year 3 students would like to remind all of our wonderful community to ensure that if they play in the playground after school their rubbish goes into the bin on the forecourt (located outside the Art room) and doesn't fall out.
