International Womens Day

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we turned it into a week-long celebration and ran daily events including a volleyball sports tournament, an IWD themed kahoot and an IWD themed art competition. On Friday, we had casual clothes day, with interactive stalls running in the atrium consisting of activities, such as note writing and origami making.

As well as this, we screened our amazing Year 11 media students IWD campaign ads in the auditorium. We managed to raise just under $600 for the Juno foundation and got a lovely display of letters and origami flowers to inspirational women in the atrium!

Thanks to the wonderful THS students, we ran daily lunchtime activities with awesome engagement, but we would like to send out a special congratulations to Max Russo, who won the IWD Kahoot, and Audrey Hamilton of year seven, winner of the IWD art competition, on their amazing performance, which led to them winning a lovely gift card and certificate!
