Interschool Sport

Darebin Division:

It was a warm and sunny day for the Darebin Division Swimming Carnival at Fitzroy Swimming Pool on Tuesday March 5. We had an enthusiastic team of swimmers from a range of year levels.

Congratulations to the four students that won individual 50 metre events and progressed through to the North Metro Region Swimming Carnival on March 27:

Sigrid McArt (Year 8): Breaststroke, Butterfly, Freestyle

Alex Berman (Year 8): Backstroke

Alasdair Leith (Year 9): Breaststroke

Anika Menz (Year 10): Backstroke

North Metro Region:

The NMR Year 11/12 tennis finals were held at the Hume Tennis & Community Centre on Tuesday March 19. It is a great tennis complex, however the extremely windy conditions made it tough for the competitors. The high level of skills were on show though, with the players performing very well despite the conditions.
