Resource Centre

A tribute to ANZAC Day

A tribute to ANZAC Day and its commemorations was reflected in a special display in the Resource Centre of print material that documented the service of local men and women in wartime.

This display has extended from the two weeks leading into the school holidays to the end of the first week of Term 2, to provide the opportunity for the College community to become more familiar with the important contributions and sacrifices both serving military personnel and the civilian community have made in wartime and in conflict and disaster zones across the world.

At the going down of the sun

And in the morning

We will remember them

A wide range of newly arrived fiction and non-fiction books has also been added to the Resource Centre collection for students to borrow this Term. These books consist of biographies, crime and mystery fiction, science fiction, graphic novels, comics and classics. I wish to thank those students who have been proactive in assisting with suggestions about some great books to add to the Resource Centre book collection.
