Prayer

During this month we honour Mary and seek her prayers for the world. “For all those who have no peace, let us invoke Mary, the woman who brought into the world the Prince of Peace.” Pope Francis

Last term was a particularly busy time for Kildare students and staff. We finished the term with our Easter Liturgy which was expertly assembled by David Chaston, Michael Mack and Mel Hale. The Year 11 drama students performed the Stations of the Cross, and Year 11 music students sang, with the accompaniment of a small group of musicians from Years 9, 10 and 11.

Our Anzac Service was conducted by the Year 12 Senior Student Representatives and well attended by guests from Kapooka Warrant Officer Class 1 Mr Glenn White, Member of the Australian House of Representatives Mr Michael McCormack and Mayor of Wagga Wagga Mr Dallas Tout. We have recently celebrated the Feast of Nano Nagle and are now in the month of May, which traditionally, is the month dedicated to Our Lady.
