Catch-Ups:
Vanda recently celebrated a milestone birthday, and since she ALWAYS remembers our birthdays, we had to put on a special celebration for her.
Our Dance Stage and sandpit are very popular every lunchtime.
Most days, I play music for our children, and they love it - they call it their Dance Party.
Lala really gets into her dancing, and our senior girls love supporting and encouraging her. It is a beautiful thing to see. Recently, Lala was the most energetic and engaged I have ever seen. She danced up a storm and was so full of joy that she raced up the steps, gave me a huge hug, and then raced back to keep dancing. I won't forget that moment.
We had a bus booked to take 90 or more students and some teachers and parents to the Tough Kid race at Whenuapai on Thursday. Unfortunately the bus company told us a couple of days before the event they could not provide our booked bus after all.
My wife is the principal of Mangere Central School. She contacted two Principal 'besties' close to her school and procured five vans for us: one from Nga Iwi, two from Jean Batten, and two from Mangere Central. She even organized her two Caretakers and an Office Staff person to deliver all five vans to our school a day ahead of time.
We are very grateful indeed.
Some awesome print art from rooms 4 and 5 artists below.
Found Property:
We used to call it Lost Property but since we found it, we renamed it.
Speaking of naming, PLEASE help us to help you by naming your children's clothing.
We find lots of clothing, and if it's named, we can find its owner.
If it's not named, it ends up in this file - below. Please pop in and claim anything that is yours before we wash it and give it to a social support agency.
