Ambulance Victoria Visit

Last Wednesday the Year 12 SWEL students participated in a workshop with Ryan from Ambulance Victoria to gain an insight into careers in health care with a focus on Nursing and Paramedicine. 

Ryan presented an overview of what a healthcare career is like sharing some insightful stories and terrific advice for our senior students.  The students were also educated on the basics of first aid and were required to complete a practical activity practicing CPR on dummies.  

It was a great opportunity to have an experienced paramedic at Heathmont educating our year 12s on the importance of first aid as well as a potential career in healthcare.
