Great Scott! Sales for the 2024 Parent Ball are now open!

The future is whatever you make it! So hop in your DeLorean, grab your Almanac, and get ready to party like it's 1985... and 1955... and 1885... and 2015!

Event details

  • Date: Saturday, 13 April
  • Time: 6.30pm onwards
  • Venue: Gibney Hall, Trinity College
  • Dress code: formal

What ticket types are available?

There will be no ballot system this year (unlike previous years); instead, tickets will be sold directly through the Online Store. There will be two sales options for the limited number of places available:

  1. Tables of 10 (charged at $1,650 per table); one table per transaction
  2. Individual Tickets (charged at $165 per person)

The College will work closely with buyers after payment has been received to confirm the name/s and details (including dietary requirements) of all guests.

There are limited tickets available of both ticket types, so get in quick to avoid missing out!

Advice for 'tables of 10' sales

Liaise with your friends in advance and nominate who will be the 'Table Coordinator' - this is the person who should purchase the table through the Online Store. They will be the primary contact person in advance of the event.

Advice for 'individual tickets' sales

If you have friends that are also selecting this ticket type and you would like to sit with them, please email parentball@trinity.wa.edu.au to advise of this preference. If we do not receive any advice from you about seating preferences, the Event Committee will place guests on tables at their discretion.

The TC Parent Council looks forward to welcoming you!

Join us for Family Night Under the Stars

Trinity College invites students and their families to a night under the stars!

  • Date: Wednesday, 17 April
  • Time: From 7.00pm - 10.00pm
  • Venue: Mann Oval, Trinity College
  • Cost: $5 per person (free for children aged 6 or under)

We have an amazing astronomy program at Trinity College, and a great observatory that our students can use to take images of the deep sky and learn about the universe we live in.

On Wednesday 17 April, we will host volunteers from the Perth Observatory who will bring telescopes to show us close-up views of planets and stars within our solar system.

Some refreshments will be available to attendees, but guests are very welcome to bring along a picnic dinner and sit out on Mann Oval from 7.00pm. The viewing will begin at approximately 8.00pm when it is dark enough.

All TC students and their families are invited to come along, regardless of whether or not they participate in TC's Astronomy Program.

For more information, please email the Trinity College Observatory Manager Gabrielle Ietto at ietto.gabrielle@trinity.wa.edu.au

On Sale! Senior School Drama Production - "Take Two: A Comedy of Errors"

Get ready for an electrifying theatrical experience as TC's Senior School Drama students gear up for their sensational production, Take Two: A Comedy of Errors by Hilary Bell, hitting the stage on 26 and 27 April.

Embark on a rollercoaster of a story; a thrilling blend of two cities, two sets of twins, love, death, mistaken identity and identity theft! Antipholus and his faithful servant Dromio journey to Ephesus in search of their long-lost twin brothers, who share their names. Meanwhile, Egeon, their father, seeks his sons but finds himself imprisoned by the Duke.

Amidst this turmoil, a jealous wife, her petulant sister, a nun, a courtesan, an exorcist, and a renowned jeweller add to the comedic mayhem, complete with singing, dancing, and sleight of hand. To heighten the chaos, our five actors brilliantly tackle the roles of 13 characters!

Witness the magic as "Take Two" transforms Shakespeare's classic into a high-octane spectacle, weaving in contemporary language and pop culture references that speak directly to the pulse of today's youth. Mark your calendars because this is one theatrical event that Trinity College promises to be as thrilling as it is unforgettable!
