Gideon Quinn-Smith

Congratulations to Gideon who received three trophies at the recent Inglewood Little Athletics season wind up. He featured in:

• Sprints - Intermediate Boys Champion

• Throws - Intermediate Boys Runner Up

• Under 11 Boys 2nd Runner Up Age Champion.

Gideon is part of a team of sprint athletes from Trinity that have competed together at the Junior State Relay Championships. The boys are Jayden Adair, Mitchell Borman and Joshua Lim. Great work, team!

Mitchell Borman

Mitchell Borman competes at the Inglewood Little Athletics club, and it was the awards ceremony on Saturday and received Under 11 Boys Champion, along with intermediate distance champion and runner-up jumps champion. (Intermediate means he was being ranked against U13, U12 and his age group). 

He truly had a great year, qualifying for all distance, sprints, hurdles and jumps events at states, and chose to compete in the 800m, 400m, triple and high jump. He recovered from a virus just in time to compete at the junior state track and field championships, but his legs lacked some speed and stamina. Still, he came 4/24 for the 400m, and was pipped on the line for a medal.
