Easter Hat Parade and Raffle
Parents and community members are invited to our Easter Hat Parade tomorrow, Thursday 28th March at 9.00am in the hall. The P&C will draw the monster Easter Raffle at the conclusion of the parade.
Autumn Festival Parade
All students are invited to participate in the Autumn Festival parade that will be held on Saturday 6th April. The parade starts from Central Park at 12.30pm. Martin's Gully students will walk with students from the other public schools in Armidale. We will be the 5th float in the parade so look for the sign post 5 and gather there. The parade finishes at Civic Park (Opposite the Ex services Club). Being float 5 allows the students to watch the rest of the parade once finished. Students attending should wear their RED polo shirt – the theme is Autumn Colours.
Tree Planting
On Wednesday 10th April, Stage 2 and 3 students will assist Armidale Rotary and Kindly Sanctuary plant trees for a koala habitat. They have approximately 7000 trees to plant. We are hoping to help them plant 1000 on this day. Parents are welcome to join us on the day. Stage 2 will attend from 11.00am to 12.30pm and Stage 3 from 1.00pm to 2.30pm. Parents are welcome to travel with us on the bus.
North West Junior Boys Swimming Champion
Congratulations to Nixon on being named North West Junior Boys Swimming Champion. His certificate arrived in the mail this week.
North West Selection
Congratulations to Olivia on being selected in the North West tennis team. Olivia will travel to Newcastle next term for the state carnival.
