Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Carers, Students and Staff,
Can you believe we are already at the end of Week 3 of a very short 9 week term! We have some exciting events coming up.
School Review
On Monday, 4th August, we commenced the first day of our School Review. The review panel gathered to reflect on the school's achievements over the past 12 months, observe classroom practices, and prepare for the upcoming fieldwork day.
The panel's initial feedback was overwhelmingly positive. They commended the high quality of teaching and learning, the calm and orderly classroom environments, the strong sense of positive school climate, and the encouraging results from NAPLAN 2025.
The next stage of the review is the Fieldwork Day, during which the panel—consisting of the Reviewer, SEIL, and Challenge Partners—will conduct focus groups with students, staff, and parents.
We invite parents and carers to participate in a parent/carer focus group on Monday, 18th August, from 9:00–10:00am. If you are available and interested, please contact Mel in the office to register your interest.
Free Familly Cooking Classes - TERM 4
Next term Foodbank Victoria will be running four free cooking classes for families to attend.
Date: Tuesdays 14th 21st 28th October and 11th November

These classes are designed for your whole family to attend (including any older/younger siblings!) The program aims to provide a hands-on environment, where families will cook and enjoy a meal together during each session.
