2025 NAPLAN Results

In this fortnight’s newsletter, I would like to highlight our strong performance in NAPLAN this year. A key area for analysing NAPLAN performance is the percentage of students who have achieved in the Strong or Exceeding proficiency levels. Each year, our Year 3 and 5 NAPLAN data is compared to:

• Similar schools (schools with communities at a similar socio-economic level)
• Network schools (schools that sit within the Central Peninsula area, regardless of their socio-economic level)
• State (all students in Victoria for that year level).

I’m pleased to report that in 8 of the 10 test areas Langwarrin Primary School has matched or outperformed the state and in 7 of 10 areas, we have outperformed similar schools (see table below).

This is a great result for Langwarrin Primary School and is a testament to the hard work that our staff and students have been undertaking as we reinvigorate our teaching and learning programs.
