Congratulations Confirmed!
Congratulations to our, newly Confirmed, young people. The ceremonies took place last weekend with Bishop Greg. It was a special occasion where they received the gifts of the Holy Spirit and strengthened their commitment to their faith journey. We are proud of the reverence and joy they showed in preparing for and taking part in this important step, and we thank their families, teachers, school leadership and parish community for supporting them along the way. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and inspire our Year 6s as they grow in faith and love.
I'd also like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the choir for providing the musical joy for the two ceremonies. It certainly sounded like 'singing is praying twice'.

Our First Communion candidates have had their workshops this week, providing a step closer for their preparation. We learned about God's abundance of love. We see it in the Wedding at Cana, The Feeding of the 5000 and of course in the Last Supper. Jesus is seen in each of these stories as lavishing us with spiritual food!
