Junior Chefs Shine in the Kitchen!

Our students recently took part in the 2025 Sacred Heart College Junior Chef Competition, and what a fantastic experience it was! From start to finish, the team impressed with their enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to the challenge.

In the lead-up to the big day, the students worked hard to refine their dish, practising techniques, flavours, and timing. A huge thank you to Edwina and Kath P for their incredible support in preparing the children for the experience and to our families for their patience and enthusiasm (especially those who ate a lot of butter chicken along the way!).

On competition day, our young chefs demonstrated outstanding teamwork, time management, and a love of learning. The kitchen buzzed with energy as they worked together to present a dish that was not only delicious but beautifully plated and full of personality. Judges praised the vibrant flavours, textures, and the students’ ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.

We are so proud of what they achieved, not just in terms of the final dish, but in the way they supported one another, tackled the challenge with confidence, and embraced the spirit of the event.

A big thank you to Sacred Heart College for hosting such a well-organised and inspiring competition. Events like this give students a chance to explore their interests in a real-world setting and offer a valuable opportunity to build skills, confidence, and friendships.

We’re already looking forward to taking part again in 2026!

T20 Cricket 

We had a fantastic day filled with fun and great sportsmanship. The students were incredibly well-behaved and showed how to be great teammates and competitors. They played their hearts out and were a perfect example of what it means to be a good sport with their positive energy and excitement clearly visible!
