Ryan’s Rambling

Dear Families,
What a wonderful week we’ve had at Dana Street Primary School!
How lovely it was to have the sunshine across parts of the week. Our school has been buzzing with activity and excitement.
This week, we celebrated Book Week, beginning with our Whole School Read-In. It was heart-warming to see our entire community pause for 15 minutes to enjoy the magic of reading together. A big thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make this a special moment for our students.
Our Book Week Parade was another highlight. The creativity and effort that went into the costumes were simply fantastic! Thank you to all our families for supporting this tradition and helping to bring characters to life in such fun and colourful ways. We know that many hours were probably spent costume making!
Looking ahead, we are thrilled to remind you that our School Production is next week! Dancing Feet At Dana Street will surely be a night to remember. The excitement among students and staff is building, and we are nearly sold out – only 11 tickets remain! If you haven’t booked yet, please do so soon to avoid missing out.
A huge thank you to Claudine and Stella for their dedication and hard work in bringing this production to life. We can’t wait to share a very special evening with our community. Get your dancing shoes ready – it’s going to be a night to remember!
As always, I do hope that you’re able to carve out some time for yourselves, and as a family this weekend. Many of our students are entering various sports finals season, so good luck to all children competing over the weekend!
Have a fantastic weekend.
Ryan 😊
