Last Friday, both our senior and junior PSSA soccer teams showcased incredible skill, determination, and sportsmanship, capping off an unforgettable season. We’re so proud of the growth, confidence, and resilience each player has demonstrated qualities they will carry into future teams and challenges.

Our Juniors faced an undefeated side in their semi-final, battling hard before going down 0–2. They bounced back brilliantly in the third-place playoff, winning a tight 3–2 contest to finish third overall!

Our Seniors continued their remarkable run with a dominant 6–0 semi-final victory to reach the Grand Final against Glendore Public School. After a tense 0–0 draw through regular and 1-1 at extra time, the match was decided by penalties. With rain pouring down and tired legs, our Seniors remained composed and teamwork-driven, clinching a dramatic 7–6 shootout win to bring the Senior Crossroads Trophy back home to Edgeworth!

A huge thank you to Glendore Public School for an outstanding match and to all our parents and families for your unwavering support getting players to games, keeping them fuelled and organised, and cheering them on every step of the way. Your encouragement truly made all the difference!

Last Friday, the Junior and Senior netball teams competed at the Crossroads Netball Finals. After two challenging games, both teams proudly secured 3rd place in the competition.

The players demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, and fairness throughout the day. This is a fantastic achievement, and everyone should be proud of their efforts and commitment. Congratulations to all involved!
