Year 1 Phonics Screening Check

Over the last few weeks, our Year 1 students completed the Phonics Screening Check. This important assessment helps teachers gauge how students are progressing in their early reading development and ensures targeted support is provided where needed. Our Year 1 teachers were pleased with the strong results achieved.

Check-in Assessment

During Weeks 6 to 8, all primary students will complete the Check-in Assessment. This annual online assessment for students in Years 3 to 6 includes a reading test and a numeracy test, with Year 6 students also completing a writing task. The Check-in Assessment helps identify students’ performance in literacy and numeracy and informs the next steps in teaching and learning.

Inclusive Education Ten Pin Bowling

What a fantastic day for our four Stage 3 students who represented our school at the Inclusive Ten Pin Bowling event last week. Congratulations to Koby T, Elijah B, Jordan K, and Jacob M!

All four students had a wonderful time, enjoying two games and putting some fantastic scores on the board. They showed great sportsmanship, encouraged one another, and were a pleasure to watch.

It was inspiring to see them having fun, giving their best effort, and proudly representing our school. We are very proud of their participation and positive attitude throughout the event.
