Building a Positive and Inclusive School Community
The Wellbeing Team has had a busy and positive start to the term, with a strong focus on building a safe, inclusive and connected school community.
Bullying No Way Week – Small Acts, Big Impact!
This term, we are recognising Bullying No Way Week, with the 2026 theme “Small Acts, Big Impact.” The theme highlights how everyday actions such as showing kindness, including others, checking in with someone who may be struggling and speaking up when something is not right can make a meaningful difference.
Preventing bullying is everyone’s responsibility. By choosing kindness, looking out for one another and creating spaces where everyone feels safe, respected and included, our students can make a big impact on the culture of our school.
Celebrating Student Achievement
We are always excited to celebrate the achievements of our students through our Merit Award Assemblies in Weeks 5 and 6. These assemblies provide an opportunity to recognise students who have demonstrated achievement, effort, positive behaviour, leadership and commitment to their learning and school community.
Congratulations to all students who receive an award this term. We look forward to celebrating more successes in the future!
Attendance Matters
Good attendance is an important part of student success, connection and wellbeing. We are continuing to implement attendance reward gift vouchers for students who achieve 95% or above attendance each term.
We also want to recognise students who are making positive changes to improve their attemdance. Any student who has improved their attendance from the previous term will go into the draw to win a gift voucher. Every improvement counts, and we encourage students to keep working towards making regular attendance a priority.
Bring Your Best and Earn House Points!
Students are encouraged to do their best in all aspects of school life - in the classroom, on the sporting field, through extracurricular activities, by demonstrating positive behaviour and by supporting others.
These positive actions can earn points for your House, so every student has the opportunity to contribute to their House's success. At the end of the term, the winning House will receive a special prize. Keep earning those points and showing what makes our school community great!
SRC Spirit Day
Our Student Representative Council (SRC) is also busy planning a Spirit Day for the end of term. The event will be a great opportunity for students to come together, celebrate our school community and show their school spirit.
We look forward to sharing more details with students as the day gets closer.
Together, through small acts of kindness, positive choices, improved attendance and active participation, we can make a big impact on the wellbeing and success of our school community.
