Mini Vinnies Winter Sleepout – Living Our Faith Through Action
On Thursday 18th June, our Year 6 students will be taking part in our Mini Vinnies Winter Sleepout. This special evening is an opportunity for our senior students to learn more about homelessness, hardship and the challenges faced by many people in our wider community, especially during the cold winter months.
As part of our Catholic faith, we are called to notice the needs of others and respond with compassion, kindness and action. Through the Mini Vinnies Sleepout, our Year 6 students will be encouraged to think about what it means to stand in solidarity with others, to show empathy and to work together for the common good.
The sleepout will include time for reflection, prayer, discussion and simple activities to help students better understand the work of St Vincent de Paul and the many ways we can support people experiencing difficulty. It is a powerful way for our students to put their faith into action and recognise that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
As a school community, we can all help support this important initiative.

We are so proud of our Year 6 students for their willingness to take part in this meaningful experience and for showing leadership in caring for others. Thank you to our families for your generosity and support as we continue to encourage our students to live out the Gospel message of love, service and compassion.
Together, we can help bring warmth, hope and dignity to others this winter.
Save the Date – Grandparents/V.I.P. Morning
We are very excited to invite our grandparents and special friends to join us for our Grandparents Morning in Term Three, Week 2, on Friday 24th July.
This special morning is always such a beautiful opportunity for our school community to come together and celebrate the important role grandparents and special friends play in the lives of our children. Their love, wisdom, stories, support and presence are such a gift, and we look forward to welcoming them into our school.
We will begin the morning by attending Mass together, before returning to school where grandparents and special friends will have the opportunity to visit our learning spaces and spend time with the children. We will then share morning tea together as a school community.
More details about the morning will be shared closer to the date, but for now we ask families to please save the date and let grandparents and special friends know that they are warmly invited to join us.
We cannot wait to celebrate this wonderful occasion together in Term Three.
