Grade 5/6

Buddies

Term 2 we find ourselves catching up when we can. On Wednesday, it was the first time we got together and spent some time with our buddies. The Year 6s are currently making their prep buddy their 'Buddy Book'. This session was the first time the preps saw this book and started to add information about their buddy and first year of schooling. At the end of the session, the preps had a very special run around and play on the senior playground with the Year 6s. 

Integrated Studies

Making Democracy is well on its way to inform our students about how Australia is governed and what we need to know about Canberra before our camp. 

We encourage families to have discussions about everything federal, state and local governments and how important it is to vote and be an active member of our country.
