CONCERT HELPERS

As mentioned last week, one of our key tasks this term is to take the next steps in terms of planning for the school concert. We like to do this with a small team of parents and staff members.  This team will meet on 2 or 3 occasions after school later this term and then weekly in the lead up to the concert.  Please email or give me a call if you’d be interested in joining this team.

We will also be looking for lots of help from parents as the concert draws closer and at performances, so listen out for opportunities to get involved.

NEW SOCCER GOALS ON THE WAY (Buninyong Campus)

For 20 plus years there have been 2 permanent soccer goal structures on the oval at the Buninyong Campus.  Unfortunately, those goals don’t line up, making it difficult to play matches.  This has been pointed out by our VOTS reps on a few occasions lately, so Mr Georgiou is now in the process of finding goals that would best suit our situation and getting those ordered.  Hopefully these will be in place in the coming few weeks.

We know the oval get’s extremely wet in winter months, causing it to be closed.  The plan is to purchase transportable goals that can be relocated to the synthetic soccer pitch for periods where the oval is out of action.

SCHOOL TOURS ON OFFER

If you know of someone that is considering our school as an option for 2025, recommend they give the office a call and request a tour. Our Grade 6 Transition Team members at Buninyong and school leaders at Scotsburn are doing a great job conducting tours and they are happy to accommodate all newcomers.
