VCE and Careers Expo

On Thursday 2nd May our YR11 students and YR12 VM students attended the VCE Careers Expo at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Wharf, Melbourne. 

Exhibiting at the Expo were all the Victorian Universities, as well as local TAFEs and other tertiary providers.  This was a great opportunity to go and chat to representatives of these providers all under one roof.  Other exhibitors like Ambulance Victoria, the ADF and Victoria Police were also present to showcase careers in these services.  There were also Gap Year providers and companies that offer traineeships and apprenticeships in various industries, e.g. Sheen, and Mainfreight.  

Our students enjoyed collecting various items of merchandise the exhibitors were handing out but we hope they gained some useful insights in to the many opportunities that await them after high school.
