Wow... what a day we had at House Soccer!
The Eagle's skill, determination, teamwork and spirit were all on display as we put together a clinical performance against the Guliwan Kangaroos.
Young guns George and Oli Henderson starred early for the Eagles whilst the passion of Eddie Potton really stood out as he thrived for every contest.
In the second half, Lachie Devlin showed his speed whilst the raking left boot of Logan Kirwin added some class in the front half.
A 5-1 win was a great reward for the passion and spirit our Eagles are showing, however Assistant coach Clayton Ryan believes there is much more to come from the Lok Lok camp. "It's a great start but this group is only just getting started. We can't wait to keep building and we look forward to the upcoming Athletics day and House Footy" Ryan said.
Great work Lok Lok! Start practicing your work on the aths track and get that Sherrin in your hands, we've got more trophies to win!
Remember, Eagles Soar As One!

What an epic 2 weeks for the Gulliwan Mob. As always there has been outstanding participation and courage shown inside and outside the classroom. Our team spirit has been so great all along but it still seems to be lifting more and more, when talking to Romano he said Gulliwan in the best because when participating in things like the colour run etc he has some great friends in his team like Maya and Thatcher to encourage him. What has been going on the last 2 weeks? Well where do we begin! 3-6 Athletics was the ultimate place from our Gulliwan squad to shine their talents in the track and field events. Emmy Anderson was my interview seat this week discussing the Young Leaders Breakfast she attended. During the day they learnt so much and listened to guest speaker Aretha Brown, they completed a challenge memorising Lego instructions then having to complete it as a team. Emmy said this was so good for her team building skills! Emmy said overall the day was amazing and she is grateful she was given the opportunity to step out of her comfort zone, GO EMMY!
Now let's hear from some legend Gulliwan team members over on Grade 3/4 camp. Tilly T told Mr. James her biggest challenge on camp has been the giant swing because I’ve never done it before. I used my risk-taking to still have a go, even it was scary I still had fun. When chatting to Abel, Mr. James found out that he found the giant swing was my biggest challenge because it was really fun but also very hard. I went halfway to the top and had to use my risk-taking. I also used team-work as we cheered on everyone, everyone was so kind and had a go.
See you next fortnight Gulliwan crew!
