SWPBS
Free Dress Day
Friday 3rd of May
Students get to wear casual (weather appropriate) clothing to school for the day as their chosen whole school SWPBS reward.
What is School Wide Positive Behaviour? (SWPBS)
It is an evidence-based framework for Victorian government schools for preventing and responding to student behaviour. It aims to create a positive school climate.
- A clear set of behaviour expectations is developed around our school values of Care, Respect, Responsibility and Resilience and is displayed in every class on our school Matrix.
- Positive expectations and behaviours are explicitly taught and encouraged. Students are given tokens when they show positive behaviours.
- When students reach 10 tokens in their token bags, they receive/choose a class reward and also place their 10 tokens in the whole school reward box of their choice.
