You may have heard your child talking about a 'Daily Review' in maths. We have been working as a whole staff to embed this practice across our school. You will notice in the video above that all children are engaged in problem solving on their whiteboards and in reviewing previously taught skills. Research shows that when we review skills, spread over time, children are more likely to retain the skill that they've learnt. You might like to chat to your child about what they 'reviewed' in maths each day.
