Friends of Northcote invite our parent community to our Movie Night at Westgarth Cinema at 8:00pm on Thursday 30 May.

Book your tickets here as there are no door sales on the night. This year’s film is Radical. Winner of the Sundance Film Favourite Award, RADICAL is based on the true story of an inspiring educator who refused to let his students be defined by their circumstances. In a Mexican border town plagued by neglect, corruption, and violence, a frustrated teacher (Eugenio Derbez, CODA) tries a radical new approach to break through his students’ apathy and unlock their curiosity, their potential… and maybe even their genius. It will be great night, drinks will be available for purchase from the bar and it’s a good opportunity to meet other families at the school before we move into the film viewing.

The proceeds from the night will go to our Thrive fund. This comprises our Empower fund which helps students in need, our Build fund which enhances our school buildings, our Inspire fund that supports all Library activities, and our Innovate fund which funds student-led groups and projects.
