Parent Teacher Conferences

Thank you to everyone who attended last week's Meet the Teacher Conferences. It was wonderful to see many families around the school on both Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Please reach out to your child's classroom teacher to make an appointment if you were unable to attend an interview last week.

Our next round of Parent-Teacher conferences will be held in Week 5 of Term 3. This change (in 2023 the conferences were held in the last week of Term 2) has been made from feedback received from staff and families alike. These changes have been made to ensure that our formal communications with our families regarding student achievement (Semester Reports and Parent-Teacher Conferences) are happening at regular intervals throughout the year. The need for consistent and regular communication from the school about your child’s progress was a common theme within parent surveys and feedback received in 2023. These conferences will also enable teachers to give parents an update on their child’s progress and to put any actions in place that will assist in facilitating growth prior to the Semester 2 Report.

More information regarding the dates and times of the Term 3 Parent-Teacher Conferences will be made available via Compass closer to the date.
